No!, This loan does not allow for Non-occupant Co-borrowers. Relatives my help in the form of a GIFT but their income can not be used in qualifying if they are not planning to occupy the property
The loan is a standard 30 year fixed mortgage product with no pre-payment penalties, balloon payments or rate adjustments.
The loan program requires all applicants to complete a Free Fannie Mae Home Buyer Certification Course. The course takes about 2 hours and can be found here

There are not upfront fees to apply for the mortgage. Once you are in escrow with a live property you will need to pay for the Appraisal, property inspection and potential HOA and Insurance costs associated with homeownership.
